First, we will not publish this podcast unless you and Mr. Solan give us your ok first, but we think it would be a great example for other teachers to listen to who are trying to integrate more technology into their classes. But we will not be offended at all if you tell us not to.

It is traditional that we call our guests by their first name, well, except when we interviewed the governor--would you be comfortable with that?

Ok -- Let's start.

Hello and welcome to the Lunch Time Leaders Podcast. Today we welcome into our studio Matt and Scott. Since this is a surprise interview for them, we won;t give out their last names or the school they are from until we get the official ok from them in the coming days. They are visiting our class from another middle school in CT. Matt is a Computer Science teacher and Scott is a Social Studies teacher. Welcome to our show!

So Matt, we hear you are running a trip to the Grand Canyon this summer...can we come? BANTER

Are you both enjoying your day off from school today?

Thank you for visiting our class this afternoon, and we know you visited another school this morning...what is the purpose of your visits?

Why does your school want to

What do you see as some of the challenges of making changes at your school?

Here is a hard question--Why do you think teachers haven't made these changes on their own?

Why do you see these type of changes as necessary?

After your visit in the morning, what type of things from the first school that you saw do you think you could use at Dodd?

If you each had a chance to rip your school right down to the ground, and start building all over again, what would new building look like? What would be in it?

What was the best learning/educational experience you have had? Why?

And one last hard question...when you go back to your staff and let say at the next staff meeting you have to present on your experiences today...what will your opeing lines be?

And that is all the time we have for today's show. We would like to give a big thanks to our guest about not running away after the found out they were going to be put on the spot and be interviewed. For everyone in the audience, it is a whole lot harder than it seems to sit across from us and answer questions on the spot. Thanks again Matt and Scott!

Bye
